Introducing four new Non-Executive Directors at GoodWork!

We’re excited to be welcoming four new Non-Exec Directors at GoodWork: Laura Quinn, Jade Skeete, Hannah Saad and Abu Sayed.

Jade, Laura, Hannah and Abu will be joining our existing board members as Non-Executive Directors, bringing their unique perspectives and experiences to help drive GoodWork’s growth and further our mission.

Jade’s background is in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, and Business Strategy across the FinTech sector. She has actively contributed to corporate initiatives promoting social mobility and authored articles focused on diversity and inclusion. Fuelled by her own lived experiences of social mobility challenges, she brings an important and expert perspective to the GoodWork board.

Laura has 20 years of global experience advising corporations, nonprofits and philanthropies on social impact and sustainability challenges,. She has a deep interest in the role of business in driving social value, creating economic opportunity and ensuring equitable outcomes for all. Hannah is a dedicated advocate for diversity and inclusion, with experience driving initiatives to expand opportunities for underrepresented groups, and increase access to professional careers. She has worked with the Social Mobility Commission, charities, and organisations to encourage more employers to offer appenticeships to close the skills gap. Having volunteered for GoodWork in the past, we’re looking forward to welcoming her back!

Abu brings his experience in business growth, entrepreneurship and innovation to support GoodWork execute on its vision and strategy. Abu has worked in public safety for over 20 years and has Fellowships with the Institute of Engineering and the Chartered Management Institute. He first connected with GoodWork through our partnership with Daintta, and is keen to use his lived experience to help amplify our mission and empower the next generation of talent.

As a Community Interest Company, our board of voluntary Non-Executive Directors play an important role in supporting our CEO, Felicity, in overseeing our strategy and shaping the direction of GoodWork.

We’re thrilled to welcome our new NEDs and can’t wait to benefit from their expertise to develop our programmes and impact over the coming year!
