About the Programme
The GoodWork Programme offers you the opportunity to kickstart your career and access the training, support and community you need to be successful.
We provide extensive training, one-to-one support and access to fairly paid opportunities with our network of partner employers over a six-month programme. Our next London based programme runs from February to August 2025.
All our partner employers pay a London Living Wage and we’ll do everything we can to support you to land a great role during your time with us. You can read some amazing success stories from our programme graduates, like Razz and Aroma.
It’s a big commitment, but a rewarding one that will help you grow your skills and confidence - and get your career started.
Who it’s for
Our programme is for young people in London who have left education and need support navigating the world of work.
If you’re struggling to get your career started, because you don’t have the experience or academic background many employers look for, this might be the programme for you.
To be eligible for our programme, you must be from a lower socioeconomic background and aged 18-25 on 17 February 2025.
You should be interested in a “professional” job or apprenticeship, that might be in marketing, tech, consulting, finance, sales, operations, law or many other areas.
You don’t need any qualifications or experience to apply. We’re looking for potential and motivation, that’s it.
How it works
If you get a place on the programme, you’ll start with in-person training alongside around 25 other young people who are going through the process together.
You’ll attend at least 8 days of training. If you’re currently employed, we’ll work with you to ensure you’re able to take part.
Our partner employers interview directly from our training programme and you may be offered a full-time role very quickly. If not, you’ll continue to be supported to find the right role for you, both through direct opportunities with our partners and with help applying to roles that you’re interested in.
Whether you land a job right away or not, you’ll have a mentor, direct support from GoodWork and regular training with the full cohort.

Throughout the programme I was able to meet and get to know new people from different backgrounds which has opened up my perspective.
My career path has been greatly shaped by this experience, and I'm appreciative of the opportunities and insights I've learned along the way.”
— Emil, Consulting Intern at Daintta
“Before joining GoodWork, I was seeking employment opportunities after withdrawing from university, securing a role felt unattainable.
Since joining the programme, I’ve gained access to opportunities and resources that serve me and the future that I want.
The long-term support and guidance provided by both GoodWork and my mentor are indispensable. Feeling seen, heard and understood has diminished a lot of my anxieties and increased my confidence.”
— Angelle, Marketing Intern at Wild Cosmetics
“I gained many valuable skills and so much support. The help I received this past year, especially in CV building and interview prep, helped me immensely in landing my first professional role at an amazing social enterprise.
I am grateful for this opportunity from GoodWork and am excited to see where the future takes this programme, helping more young professionals like me find their first roles!”
