Celebrating the end of Cohort Two!

On the 22nd March, our community came together to celebrate the end of the second GoodWork programme. Our young people and team spent the day together reflecting on the goals that were set at the beginning of the programme and taking part in a workshop on confidence building.

Each member of the cohort prepared a slide and a short presentation to share their key learnings and proudest achievements on the programme, as well as their goals for the future. We were then joined by some of our volunteer community who watched our participants’ presentations and celebrated with us over some food and drinks.

When asked what impact the programme has had on them, here’s some of what our participants said:

“I never would have done any of this a year ago, I never would have presented in front of a group before this and probably wouldn’t have been confident enough to even attend an interview previously.”

“I would say the impact that GoodWork has on me was increasing my confidence, making me realise what my strengths are and developing my communication, presentation, teamwork, organisational and time-management skills.”

“It’s allowed me to grow in my professional career, and network. GoodWork has prepared me with the best opportunities for the future.”

We are incredibly proud of Cohort Two, who now join our growing Alumni Community. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

Applications to our next programme open on Wednesday 3 April. Find out more here.

With thanks to our friends at 1ovmany for hosting our end of programme celebration!
